The main problem in the operation of irrigation systems is to ensure accuracy and reliability measuring hydrometric parameters managing water resources facilities. When operating with pumping stations, it becomes necessary measure a set technological parameters, which can be divided into following groups by type: hydraulic (flow rate, fluid pressure, flow channel), units, linear-angular (channel section length, channel width, gate movement, mixed (clear area, depth, wetted perimeter length). Analysis existing methods instruments for rational use used all areas volume taken from intake supplied network. This task contributes operational control station without at stations themselves. organizing automated accounting graduated structures equipped gates flooded or backwater-variable mode solved new integrated ultrasonic, acoustic, float level gauges as part modern microprocessor devices that convert readings such runoff readings, according calibration characteristic each specific building. article presents recommended metering different regimes quality. To speed up process canals rates 1-10 m 3 / s large facilities 10-200 s, types standard weirs, flumes various profiles, nozzles are recommended. According working formulas, changes determined, taking account error gauging indicated weirs.
